My office is in Greenwich Village, near the Path and all subway lines. Metered parking is also available, and a garage is in the building.
My office hours are from 8:30 AM-7 PM, Monday through Thursday.
I have a masters degree in special education, advanced certification in couples and family therapy, and gay/lesbian issues.
Clients can be reimbursed through their out-of network plan. I also offer a sliding scale.
I provide a safe environment where straight and LGBT individuals and couples can freely express themselves and deepen self understanding.
My specialties include trauma and adoption. I also have expertise in working with adult children of alcoholics and/or divorced parents, helping clients understand the effects these have on present and future relationships.
I have advanced training in couple's therapy, helping people improve their communication and become more understanding of each other.
Clients proceed at their own pace. I am careful not to prod, especially those with traumatic backgrounds.
I have a passion for my work. I view therapy as a puzzle where missing pieces need to be found so the client can feel whole again.
I work well with all ages and ethnic groups.
