I view therapy as an extraordinary opportunity for individuals to explore personal growth issues, increase self awareness and deal with specifically with any problems or concerns that are interfering with my client's level of contentment and peace of mind. I have been a psychotherapist and educator forovr 25 year; I'm married and the mother of two adult children. I have served as an appointed and volunteer member of various community and professional committees and Boards of Directors. I try to stay involved with the community, while remaining aware of the changing needs and concerns of the different client populations I serve.
I have special training and cerifications delaing with eating sidorders and the often related issues of depression and anxiety. I work with a wide age range of males and females...on a variety of issues.

Issues of insurance coverage can be very overwhelming...for both clients and therapists. In the past couple of years, I have removed my name from insurance panels and managed care companies (mostly because of my concerns regarding client confidentiality and oppressive paperwork requirements). I am, therefore, a NON-PARTCIPATING PROVIDER with ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES. I will, however, provide my clients with a monthly statement (containing all necessary codes and information) which they can then submit to their insurance, if they choose. INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT will come DIRECTLY TO MY CLIENTS, not to me. I always try to be as helpful as possible with all issues regarding insurance.
