My office is located in a residential building in the Streeterville area of Chicago, about 5 minutes from North Pier. It is easily accessible by public transportation. If you are driving, metered parking is sometimes available. Additionally, there is a grocery store close by which offers free parking for its customers. Please ask me for details.

As part of my service, I will call your insurance company, prior to your first visit, to verify your benefits for outpatient psychotherapy.
I have also found that many insurance companies will cover a portion of the therapy, even when I am not part of the insurance network.

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. Prior to pursuing my doctoral degree, I obtained a Master's degree in Health Dynamics at Boston University, specializing in dance and movement therapy. I worked subsequently in several community mental health centers where I developed and administered new treatment programs and provided clinical services to adults and families.
During my doctoral training at Northwestern University Medical School, I worked at Northwestern's outpatient counseling center and at the Family Institute, where I provided psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families, conducted custody evaluations, and served as an expert witness. As a Staff Fellow at the Family Institute, I did psychotherapy and co-led a supervision group for therapists in training.
Since 1988, I have been in private practice, providing individual and couples therapy and supervising other clinicians. I have also been an Affiliate Therapist with the Family Institute, a consultant at Northwestern's Sex and Marital Therapy Program, and a therapist at several nursing and retirement homes in the greater Chicago area.
