We have three offices. My primary office is located in Mount Washington, just north of downtown Los Angeles. It is located near Eagle Rock, Silverlake, Glendale, La Canada and South Pasadena. All of my team helps clients from this location.
The second office is located in Santa Monica where both I and another therapist, Negar Khaefi, MFT work from. We work there on Mondays and Fridays. We are hoping to be able to add some times on Saturdays there soon!
The third office is located in Long Beach. Cathy Stansel, MFT is the director of this office.
We work late mornings, afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays to best accomodate our clients.

Victim's Compensation
For the most part, we do not accept insurance because we are concerned about your privacy and future. Call so we can discuss this further. Using insurance to pay for therapy is typically a very bad idea! Instead we will negotiate a fee with you or provide you with a Superbill if you want to submit it to your insurance.
As a prospective client, it is important that you find a therapist that fits your needs. There are many therapists out there and we all specialize in different areas. It is important to know what a therapist specializes in so you know if he/she is the best fit for you. Most therapists work with depression, anxiety and panic disorders along with phase of life problems, crisis moments in life and relationship problems. They are the most common problems seen in therapy. I have extensive experience in helping people with these common problems. In addition to these issues I specialize in four different areas:
1) I am a board certified trauma specialist, which means I am able to work with people who are currently, or have in the past, experienced a major life crisis, who have survived a traumatic event(s), were abused either as children or adults, and survivors of crimes, survivors of traumatic incidents, survivors of domestic abuse, etc. I have extensive experience in helping survivors of rape/sexual assault (BOTH males and females). NOTE: The team of therapists I belong to, the LA Trauma Therapy Specialists are a group of therapists who specialize in trauma therapy and helping survivors of all sorts of traumatic events.
2) I serve the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning populations, along with their families and loved ones. I have extensive experience in teens and adults struggling with identity issues.
3) I offer feminist therapy to women who would benefit from a woman-centered approach to therapy.
4) I am a specialist with teens. I have 20 years experience in working with difficult and emotionally disturbed or traumatized teens. If you have a teen you are worried is in trouble, contact me. I can help!
5) The other therapists of my group specialize in helping couples, children and families, men and women and all trauma survivors.
