P-FLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays)

WORLD (Women Organized to Respond to Life-threatening Diseases)

Model. Grassroots organization that provides support, information and referrals to women living with HIV, their families and friends. Peer advocacy, information and referrals, phone support. Various support group meetings (including hepatitis C). HIV University, a model program for women's education and empowerment. National retreats, direct services.
