Public Speaking Engagements

Speaking before a "general public" audience is very different from speaking at a conference for your peers or conducting a professional seminar. Individuals outside the field of psychology do not typically relate well to presentations steeped in research or terminology. Tailor your presentation so that it's relatively easy to relate to while also being both informative and engaging. Throughout your public speaking presentation, aim towards expressing the passion you have for your topic and the compassion you have for your audience!
