Sophie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and clinical art therapist with offices in West Los Angeles and the South Bay. She works with young adults, individuals and groups with a variety of approaches and disciplines. Sophie has extensive experience with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, women’s issues, trauma and eating disorders.
Sophie utilizes a variety of approaches and disciplines and believes that her experience with long-term therapy and short-term behavioral interventions allows for a flexible and customized therapeutic relationship that will appeal to any client.
Her professional experience as a primary psychotherapist has been obtained in a residential eating disorder facility as well as several outpatient mental health agencies. Sophie continually seeks advanced training to enhance her therapeutic skills and has completed Level one of the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) certification.
