Personal Comments:
I welcome clients from many backgrounds and cultures---married, single, living conventional and alternative lifestyles. I see adults of all ages and adolescents and pre-teen children. Generally, people who experience anxiety, depression, or have been diagnosed with personality difficulties or challenged by family, personal and work relationships, find my services very helpful. Some want to resolve their concerns immediately while others want to explore their life direction and purpose over time in therapy. I do both at the same time and have been able to help persons whose previous therapy experiences were not as helpful as they wished. My specialty is contemplative, in-depth psychotherapy that helps clients now, day-to-day. Exploring and resolving difficult, longstanding concerns, the "big issues", along with the daily challenges, is my specialty. I welcome challenges and encourage clients toward deeper wisdom and pragmatic skill. "How?" is as important as "Why?".
