General Comments:
I have been in practice for more than 10 years. I came to this work as a second career after a career in sales and management. So, like you, I too am on the journey of a lifetime.
Choosing a therapist is a very important decision. It is one that should not be left to chance, if at all possible. So, let me tell you a little about what I believe so that you can make an informed choice. First of all, I do not believe I am an expert. That might sound strange coming from a professional but, I believe it and I am very comfortable with the notion. Rather, I believe you the client are the expert. That is, I believe you are the expert of your own life. I believe if I am doing my job in the best way I know how, then what I am doing is helping you see the truth about yourself. Truth is a fundamental and enduring concept in my practice. That is, I believe we all know when we encounter the truth. It is that which resonates with us. Truth stands alone and is enduring. Like great art, truth retains value and grows in worth over time. Also, like great art, I believe that truth is also best when shared with a partner. So, working with committed relationships is also an important focus of my practice. Retaining value and worth while on the journey of a lifetime is, I believe. what most of us want for ourselves, our partners and certainly our children. In my work, I attempt to be the conduit through which my clients re-connect to that which stands alone and endures within them.
So, that is a very brief introduction to myself and my work. I invite you to contact me for more information and to determine whether or not I might be a good fit for you and your needs. Whether you choose me or not remember: You are hiring a therapist to perform a very important function on your journey of a lifetime. Therefore, make the choice that best meets your needs and goals. With that, I wish you all the best.
