General Comments:
I am a practicing clinical psychologist in the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks area of the San Fernando Valley. My clietele consists mainly of professional men and women and their families seeking help and support for problems related to their relationships, current impasses in their life, or chronic dissatisfaction and emotional pain. Many times, these problems are interfering with their ability to function in important areas of life or to recognize and express who they really are.
I utilize an integrative psychological approach to therapy focusing on issues underlying current problems and symptoms. I have a profound respect and sensitivity to my client's needs in treatment, to their courage in seeking help, and to their rhythm of sharing, of healing, and of change. From this perspective, sources of current difficulties are explored and the client's conscious and unconscious resources are utilized to facilitate healthy change and growth. Though not an easy process, therapy can be transformative. Client's can generate a new sense of identity and a new relationship to their inner and outer worlds.
