Personal Comments:
I am well rounded and a well trained therapist. My training was at Cedars Sinai and theoretically in Self-Psychology when I completed my doctoral work. I have experience in working with all types of patients which allows me to work well in private practice now. Psychotherapy will teach you about the relationship with yourself and allow you to improve your relationships with significant others in your life, your job, and enhance your strengths. Psychotherapy leads to better relationships, solutions to specific life problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress. It is a journey, and about growth. Just like you go to the gym and focus on the OUTSIDE, you then feel better on the both the inside. Similarly, psychotherapy helps focus on the INSIDE, and thus, allow you to feel better on the inside and allow for the outside to look, feel and function better. Psychotherapy is about having your own place to be, where nobody else exists. It is your space to focus totally on your self, talk about yourself, and learn about yourself.

General Comments:
"Nurturance, professional boundaries interpretation, explanation, and understanding defines my clinical style. I believe that the deepest principle of human nature is the craving to be appreciated. It is the highest calling to impart this concept to a psychotherapy client. The foundation of my private practice lies in fostering this experience.

In therapy the thwarted need to grow is reactivated. The benign conditions of therapy allow patients to relax their defenses against the need for connections that were denied in childhood. Understanding, interpretation, and safety helps patients see and repair the here-and-now bases for their struggle.

My practice embodies safety in an atmosphere of strength and emotional attunement where a clients subjective experience of "being" in the world changes. Through a non-judgemental search, in the here and now relationship, you and I will begin to shift and shape your perceptions, thoughts, feelings and actions. "
