Life today is very complex and difficult. People on a day to day basis dealing with life challenges and responsibilities can and do experience life events they were not prepared for that cause them to get stuck. These events include: death, divorce, disability, unemployment, issues with children, and mounting stress. Elizabeth Horwin provides counseling services to assist individuals and families to cope with these life experiences along with helping them develop new strategies for successful living.

Elizabeth Horwin has been involved in various aspects of counseling for over 25 years. The scope of her experience includes design and implementation of employee assistance programs nationally; counseling individuals and families through conflict and crisis through her own company and in partnership with social service agencies, networks and colleagues focused on outcome based problem and crisis resolution.

Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. She holds national certifications as a rehabilitation counselor, disability management specialist and case manager. Elizabeth attended Holy Family University and graduated from the University of Scranton (located in Pennsylvania) where she obtained her Bachelors and Master of Science degrees. As a counselor, educator, trainer and consultant, she has been named in Who's Who Among American Women; is recognized as a national speaker and seminar leader; has participated in radio talk shows; served on various boards of directors and for her national professional association as President of the Pennsylvania chapter. Currently she serves as a Commissioner on the National Certification for Disability Management Specialists Board.
