Personal Comments:
I've been in practice for over 30 years and have been privileged to participate in some amazing growth work by people who thought life would pass them by, relationships were too challenging, and grounded thinking impossible when they began the therapy process. I love working with relationship issues: pre-marital, marriage, divorce, and remarriage. I like finding out where the breakdowns are, often between good people, and helping them find new ways of meeting each other again. I love working with recovering addicts and have done so for my entire career. Change is slow sometimes but they are a determined lot and benefit from therapy. I believe in them and they keep coming back. My heart is particularly touched by those who desire to set their own pace, listen to their own hearts, and dare to go beyond family, cultural, or fear-based boundaries. Am I a specialist? I don't know how to define that in this context. I do know that I love my work and am grateful every day for the gifts I have been given to help people find more peace and joy in their lives and to believe that more is possible each day.
