Sandra Aronberg, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Aronberg’s career has spanned many areas of the healthcare industry, from her private practice as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist to her current position as Statewide Medical Director for Blue Shield of California. She has also held positions as Medical Director of AHI Healthcare Systems, Inc. and Corporate Assistant Vice President, Medical Affairs for Salick Healthcare, Inc. From 1981-1994 Dr. Aronberg was a consultant to various organizations in the healthcare industry.
Over the years Dr. Aronberg has been a guest lecturer and author and has appeared on several media programs on issues from women’s health to pediatric AIDS. Dr. Aronberg has been involved in numerous community activities. She sits on the Boards of the Maple Counseling Center and 1736 Family Crisis Centers, and she is a supporter of the friends of the Kinsey Institute.
Dr. Aronberg earned her B.S., in Biology/Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami and her M.D. from Georgetown University. She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and later completed a masters in Public, environmental and occupational health.
